Tournament Structure

1. Group Stage

  • Teams per group: 4
  • Format: Round-robin — Each team plays one match against every other team (3 matches total).
  • Points Allocation:
    • Refer to DRoP score for this
  • Qualification:
    • Top 2 teams from each group advance to the knockout stage.
    • The rest are eliminated.
  • Ranking Criteria (If Teams Are Tied):
    • DRoP Score will be used to determine rankings.

2. Knockout Stage

  • Structure: Quarter-finals → Semi-finals → Final
  • Match-ups:
    • 1st place of each group plays against 2nd place from a different group (no same-group clashes in quarter-finals).
    • Winners progress to the next round.

Match Format

A. Group Stage, Quarter-finals, Semi-finals

  • One game of 6 sets.
  • First to win 6 sets takes the match.
  • No tie-breaks.

B. Final

  • Best of 3 games
  • Each game is a race to 6 sets.
  • The team that wins 2 out of 3 games wins the championship.

Scoring Details

Game Scoring:

15 → 30 → 40 → Game

Deuce Rules:

  • At 40–40 (Deuce), only one advantage is played.
  • If Deuce happens again after Advantage, the next point is a Golden Point:
    • Receiving team chooses return side.
    • Winner of the point wins the game.

Additional Rules

Warm-up Time

  • 5 minutes before each match.

Walkover

  • A team arriving more than 10 minutes late forfeits the match.

Substitutions

  • Only allowed due to injury, with approval.
  • If substitution occurs, the team forfeits the ongoing match but may stay in the tournament (group stage only).

Conduct & Behavior

  • Unsportsmanlike behavior will result in:
    • Warning → Point Penalty → Game Penalty → Disqualification

Equipment

  • Only tournament-provided balls to be used.
  • Non-marking padel shoes are mandatory.

Referee Authority

  • The referee's decision on all matters is final and binding.
  • Players may request clarification but must respect the final ruling.
  • This ensures fair play and consistent application of rules throughout the tournament.
